Malaga city, towns, villages

Malaga splits between the built-up coast and the ‘pueblos blancos’ – the white villages in the hills. Do not imagine, that the city has nightlife but no wildlife and the villages have countryside but no culture: you can see wildlife anywhere and everywhere and there is a rich culture expressed in every hamlet.

This page provides links to blogs on each (I’ll be adding to it!), with notes on where to stay, what to do, and links to all the local walks I’ve written up. I’m building it up, little by little, from the Axarquia (which I know best), but would be delighted to hear from anyone with information about other towns in Malaga, which they know well.
